Trainees out and about in Shanghai!
Crowded, noisy and exhausting. Thus one imagines a city of 25 million inhabitants. However, Shanghai is far more relaxed than you can envision – and at the same time still wowing. Thus 21 students and 2 teachers discovered within a project of the Vocational School for Foreign Trade “Am Lämmermarkt” during their trip through Shanghai – in the country where the tea has its roots.
Due to the possibility to take an international class module at the Vocational School for Foreign Trade “Am Lämmermarkt”, the students together with their teachers travelled towards Shanghai. The aim is, to understand and become familiar with the contact and the cooperation between the nations. Our trainee Philip Wiese together with his fellow students witnessed exciting impressions, interesting experiences and extraordinary encounters. Philip Wiese is captivated - “Hard to believe, but due to their appearance Europeans are a very attractive and popular photo partner – actually up to a model-status for an advertising campaign.”– Thus as an aside.
The class had a tight program: visit of the German Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, excursion to the large trade port, on-site inspection of a great textile factory and last but not least, not to be withheld – the trip to the tea plantation at West Lake.
