Good intentions and tea
Mindfulness - what does that mean?
Mindfulness is a term that is becoming increasingly popular. There are many books about it in bookshops, several podcasts deal with it and adult education centers also offer courses on mindfulness-based stress reduction(MBSR). As a form of therapy, mindfulness offers a good option for preventing stress. Both one-off and regular application of elements of mindfulness can have a positive influence on your state of mind.

We want to dedicate a tea series to the topic of mindfulness, true to the motto "Think positive. Drink Tea.". With achtsamkeit&tee, you can bring a piece of nature into your everyday life and also a moment full of mindfulness, peace and enjoyment. For us, it goes without saying that this concept includes natural organic blends that are not flavored, but retain their full taste thanks to the best ingredients.
"The flavor of nature in your cup of tea."

Mindfulness is an attentive observation, an awareness that is completely free of motives or desires, an observation without any interpretation or distortion.
The first scientific studies on the use of mindfulness meditation were carried out in the late 1970s. Since then, the popularity and presence of the topic of mindfulness has been growing.
Elements of mindfulness:
- Mindful means: consciously perceiving
- Mindful means: being in the here and now
- Mindful means: not judging
Mindfulness in everyday life
Elements of mindfulness can easily be incorporated into everyday life and help you to take a break from the hectic pace of everyday life.
"Mindful walking" - not only when walking or jogging, but also when walking short distances, your awareness can be directed towards the perception of walking, feeling, hearing, smelling and seeing. This active sensory perception can be part of your regular mindfulness exercise.
"Breathe mindfully" - In between or as a ritual at the start of the day, a short breathing exercise can be your tool from the mindfulness exercise kit. Breathing exercises are not about right or wrong, but simply about focusing on your breathing for around 2 minutes and noticing which senses are currently being activated. Do you smell something? Do you hear something? The thoughts can be seen as clouds that pass you by.
"Drink mindfully" - Drinking enough in everyday life is a challenge for many people. Make a resolution to drink at least three liters a day for a week. You can integrate your mindfulness ritual into the preparation and drinking itself. Instead of doing lots of things at the same time, take the time to notice your surroundings and how you feel - and enjoy every sip of the drink with all your senses.
