Chai - San Chai Latte
Very tasty
Ingredients
- 6 tsp Chai Massai (Item 43077)
- 500 ml almond milk
- 5 cl Baileys (or caramel sauce for a non-alcoholic alternative)
- 100 ml whipped cream or frothed milk
- 1 tsp cocoa powder
A special chai latte recipe, named after the indigenous people of South Africa. Spicy, aromatic and a hint of spiciness with mild coffee flavours make this chai a true taste experience.
Preparation
Put the chai tea blend into a tea infuser or tea filter, place in a pot with 500 ml almond milk, bring to a boil and let steep for 8-10 minutes
Whip 100 ml cream until stiff (or froth 100 ml milk). Pour the hot tea mixture into two glass mugs.
Add the Baileys and garnish with cream or frothed milk. Sprinkle with cocoa powder to taste.
This latte also tastes delicious served ice cold as an alternative to iced coffee.
Tip: Instead of almond milk, you can also use whole milk or other types of milk if desired.
