
Orange Mint Tea Sorbet
Fruity. Fresh. Summer companion.
Ingredients
- 100 ml Orange juice
- 400 ml Water
- 4 heaped tsp Orange Mint (40269)
- 1 tbsp Lime juice
- 5 tbsp Agave syrup
- 1-2 tbsp Fresh mint, chopped
Orange Mint Tea Sorbet is summer on a spoon: This fruity, tangy fruit tea is combined with orange juice, lime, agave syrup and fresh mint. The mixture is shaken until smooth and frozen in an ice cream maker or freezer to create a refreshing sorbet – light, vegan and perfect as a dessert or palate cleanser on warm days.🍊🌿❄️
Preparation
- Brew 4 heaped teaspoons of tea with 400 ml of hot water (100°C), let steep for 8–10 minutes and allow to cool completely.
- Wash the mint, spin dry and roughly chop.
Preparation (sorbet):
- Pour the orange juice, tea and agave syrup into a shaker and mix thoroughly.
- Add the chopped mint and lime juice to the shaker.
- Shake everything vigorously.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn until frozen, then serve immediately.
Tip:
- If you don’t have an ice cream maker, pour the mixed ingredients into a shallow dish and place it in the freezer.
- Stir the mixture with a fork every 30 minutes until an even sorbet texture is achieved.
