Sunset Beach with Gin

    Try this sophisticated cocktail recipe with Sunset Beach and gin. An exotic flavour experience that will have you dreaming of the Caribbean sunset.

    Preparation

    Wash and slice the ginger. Pour the tea into a tea strainer. Pour hot water over the tea, ginger and rock candy and leave to infuse for approx. 5 minutes. Then leave to cool. In the meantime, peel the grapefruit so that the white skin is completely removed and cut out the fillets between the membranes with a knife. Squeeze the remaining grapefruit. Divide the cooled tea and undissolved rock candy between two glasses. Fill the glasses with crushed ice. Pour in gin and grapefruit juice. Wash the mint, shake dry and crush in your hand. Serve the cocktails garnished with grapefruit fillets and mint. Tip: In winter, this cocktail is also wonderful served warm.
