Along with the legal requirements and regulations, internationally binding certifications set the standard for our quality management system. In addition, we would like to provide you with an overview of our certifications.

FSSC 22000

For more than 10 years, our company was certified in compliance with ISO 9001 and IFS.
With FSSC 22000, we have chosen a stronger,more suitable product-oriented approach to
developing and improving our company’s product safety management system.

EU-eco-regulation

Since 1997 the requirements according to EU-eco-regulation 2018/848 for placing
products into circulation with reference to organic cultivation are audited annually by
n independent board of control.

Naturland

The Naturland certification includes
Green tea, black tea and Earl Grey black tea

Fairtrade Europa / Fair Trade USA

Since 1994 Wollenhaupt trades Fairtrade tea. The Fairtrade label is an independently
controlled product label for fair trade. Since September 2022 Wollenhaupt is also eligible
to supply products according to the USA Fair Trade Standard.

Ethical Tea Partnership

Since 2014 Wollenhaupt Tea Trading is a member of the Ethical Tea Partnership.

Rainforest Alliance

An internationally recognized, independent environmental organization committed to protecting sensitive ecosystems and promoting sustainable land management. The seal stands for environmentally friendly agriculture and social responsibility.

Specialty Tea Institute

The Speciality Tea Institute belongs to the USA Tea Association and performs intensive tea tasting trainings. As we are members of this institute we are part of an international network of tea specialists.

Kosher certificate

Wollenhaupt is kosher-certified for black tea, green tea and white tea.

Fair for life
